Thank you for your interest in joining the community gardens! Please read the garden information and rules before beginning the application process. If garden spaces are currently full, we still encourage those who wish to obtain a garden plot to submit an application as each year has a turnover of gardeners who for one reason or another are not coming back for the next season.

GARDEN MEMBERSHIP OVERVIEW

Community Garden Program provides:

  1. Water (regulated by the city and weather conditions)
  2. Free, unlimited mulch for pathways
  3. Tools & wheelbarrows on site

Gardeners are responsible for (see rules for more detail):

  1. Annual program participation fee
  2. A clearly worked, weeded and harvested plot all growing season
  3. Clear, weed-free, mulched pathways around their plot
  4. Seeds
  5. Organic fertilizer
  6. Hand tools
  7. Any additional plot needs
  8. Maintaining current address, phone numbers and email address with the garden board

GARDEN RULES & APPLICATION

Returning Gardeners: Returning gardeners must sign the city waiver, pay their plot fee, and receive confirmation of payment before beginning to garden.

New Gardeners: Welcome! New gardeners must submit their application, waiver, and plot fee and will receive a plot assignment on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please feel free to email us with any questions!

  • 2025 Plot Fee: $75
    • Payable by check or money order. Please specify your name and plot with the check.
